My Journey with Kose Infinity - part 2

Olla everybody!
Just a quick update on my 2nd week journey with KOSE Infinity XX during your Easter break :P

It's been 2 weeks since I stop my usual skincare and go for this Infinity KOSE XX campaign for a brighter and clearer skin. If you do have a dry skin like mine, in the first 2-3 days using the KOSE Infinity Lotion and Serum, you will find your skin in drier and rougher condition than it normally is.

This is what I do, put less Lotion on it and double up the Serum to keep our dry skin hydrated.
The Serum work nicely to keep your skin hydrated all morning and night. I use this in the morning and especially at night, I use the Serum generously.

This simple routine for me is pretty effortless and not time consuming.
Get a cotton pad to spread the KOSE Infinity Lotion all over the face, then pump KOSE Infinity Serum generously with your finger and apply it on your skin in circular motion.

So far so good, and do stay tuned with me for the part 3 Update on my journey to get a brighter and cleare skin with KOSE INFINITY series.

Fairy Tale Doll make up tutorial with Skin Food

I am back with the last challenge of
Tampines 1 make me over beauty blogger challenge.

How times flies and I am really happy and enjoying myself in creating the look according to my interpretation. I really think all of us are creative in our own way, and that is really precious to see.

For the last challenge, the theme given to us is
" Fairy Tale doll look "

Humm..humm..humm..I'm not sure on what to doll up according to the theme..
I am not a typical girl who will do princess kind of make up even when it comes to fairy tale look.
Not as well fairy. Just no.

So I browse around to see what are the category that falls into " Fairy Tale " and I was excited to know that "  Fairy tale " is more than just a Cinderella stories and the gang or even the fairies in all the princess stories.

It's about something that is not exist, a myth, a legend, a 1001 night stories..* I can breathe now*..thank God is not princessy.

Then after browsing for couple of hours, I finally know what I want to do :D
Inspired by Ice Queen from the Narnia and Arabian tale..
Please welcome my interpretation of " Fairy Tale doll " look, sponsored by SKINFOOD.

Let's start :)
Always have a clean face to start the make up look.
 photo photo1_zpsf3b3e19b.jpg

The take this SKINFOOD Red Orange Jelly BB ($26.90)
 photo photo2_zpsd3be6a31.jpg

And apply it all over your face.
The texture is a bit funny, it's really like jelly..and I would suggest you to take some and rub it on your palm first before applying on your face. The ideas of doing this is to get the even coverage and a smoother finishing.

 photo photo3_zps579e780e.jpg

Skip the powder part..and go directly to the eyeshadow.
SKINFOOD Sugar Bloom Shadow Box ($34)
This combination is super gorgeous, and it's compliment each colour very much.

 photo photo1_zps5fc161a5.jpg

Start the light burgundy as a based, then go for the gold on to get the shimmer base skin.
This 2 colours are not really pigmented, we use this 2 colours just to get the shimmer out of it.

From there, take the darkest colour (dark brown - centre palette), swipe it all over your eyelid and pull it towards your temple and draw down to your nose like my photo below:

 photo photo2_zps36e5e5ac.jpg

Take the SKINFOOD Creamy smokey crayon ($15.90)
Draw a blade shape eyeliner start from wing up the extensive line of the normal eyeliner line, the pull it down towards your nose area.

 photo photo3_zpsdd00fbf4.jpg

Take the SKINFOOD Real Eyelash special ($4.50), apply it gently close to your natural lash line.
Then with the glue that comes with the eyelashes, dot many small dots all over the dark brown area that we draw earlier.

 photo photo4_zpsa9df59f1.jpg

Sprinkle SKINFOOD Byulsatang Powder Shadow ($19.90) all over the eyelid.
Until you get the Icy effect of the Ice Queen.

 photo photo5_zps8a321862.jpg

For the Ice Queen look, you don't wanna look blushy and warm..it's the ICE Queen remember?
But do take this blusher and work it out as contouring powder on the face.
Apply it on the hollow of the cheek, and just there. No where else.

 photo photo1_zps11231a64.jpg

Lastly, get this SKINFOOD Fruit Brunch Lip Box ($34) and apply the middle peach colour just to put a little touch of human from the overall look.

 photo photo2_zpsc0547ce1.jpg

..and, you're pretty much done!

I get a bridal necklace to put as my hair/head accessories dangling down on my forehead - this idea taken from the Aladdin kind of Arabian look, but I make a little twist with the Ice Queen concept.

Do " like " my look if you like it :P

Tatty Marsh - a place where I feel closer to home

So, last friday..among all the event invitations I received..i went to the hidden gems place, located at Tanglin Mall level 2 - Tatty Marsh.

I told Haren, the organizer of this event from Street Directory, that I get bored with the typical product launches and the normal with ta-daaa moment kind of event..in fact, I am longing for a more intimate, personal kind of event where i feel comfortable mingling around, enjoying the atmosphere and a kind that Tatty Marsh had for us last Friday.

The place, is a homey feeling ambience. You are weird, if you don't feel like home at Tatty Marsh. The way Victoria - the owner, designed and decorate the shop with vintage british accent in every corner.

Whether you are a fans of Cath Kidston- which I am..or you are a more to old classic and masculine taste, Tatty Marsh has it all for u (and your partner).I fancy Cath Kidston corner very much, and they even have the baby clothing in one corner. Oh my..I so want that one..uber cute and very britz.

It's really a lot of cool stuff over there, for more updates on the new product..do check out Tatty Marsh facebook :)

And oh, I won the Tatty marsh online contest :)

They asked us to describe Tatty Marsh and I said

I would describe Tatty Marsh as a shopping place where you feel homey the most.
I am fans of British and vintage culture, cause it's bring the warmth in me as I am away from my home, and Tatty Marsh is just the place.
Vintage warm with a homey British that bring warmth in me."

and this is a little something from Tatty Marsh for me. Love it max.

I think this place is good to find a gift for a house warming, birthday or even a little decoration changes in our very own home.

So, do remember Tatty Marsh whenever you are looking for the present or ever think to change your house decoration, ok?

Glamorous doll tutorial with Sasa

Olla ladies, I am back this week with Glamorous doll tutorial with Sasa.
I know, many of you channeling glamorous look with red hot lipstick and a va va voom lashes to go along with, I am on the same boat with you on this.

But for this tutorial, I would like to share that actually an earthy shades and pinkish nude lipstick could create a Glamorous look too!

Especially for you who think that " red lipstick is not for me ", take a look on my tutorial here :)
Who knows this is a kind of glamorous look that you've been looking for?

~*~

This tutorial is a part of
Tampines 1 make me over beauty blogger challenge
that has been going on for the last one week

The voting still using Instagram @tampines1, do vote for me, yes?
I was second to the lowest one leh..damn sad. T_T
The other finalist, like I told you are supaaaa gorgeous..do check them up at  Tampines 1 Blog ok?

So, shall we start the tutorial with a clean and moisturized face?

For this look, before anything else..I start with my eyebrow first.
Why eyebrow? because to draw eyebrow as a start, it could be a gauge on how you strong you want the whole look to be.

Cyber color: $15.90
ou know what is so awesome about this Cyber color, it has NO red hue at all on the brown colour.
I hate those brown eyebrow pencil that comes with a red/orange hue on it.

I'll go for a soft archy brow for this look.

*And one point to note when you draw your eyebrow is to have your ending point higher than your starting point near to your nose bridge.*

Next step: Curl your lashes :)
This completely optional whether u wanna do this first or later, I love to do it cause it open up my eyes and somehow makes my eyes more awake :)

Using my favourite mascara ever! Maybelline!!
$18.90

Apply at least 2-3 coat to get a prominent lashes, and do zig zag motion to lengthen the lashes.

Next, I will start prep up my face with Revlon Photo ready foundation ($31.40)

I love applying foundation with foundation brush to get a smooth and even coverage all over the face.
Don't go dot the foundation all over the face and even it out..but complete each face section before going on to the next one.

And set it with Revlon Photoready powder ($30.90)

After prep-ing your face with the foundation and set it with powder,
get a pinkish/peachy blush tone.
Maybelline blush $12.90

and apply it on your cheek hollow towards the temple, keep the apple of the cheek clean.
This trick work as contouring as well :)
Double function in one go!

For the eye, I use The Balm- nude collection $59.90

1. Take " seductive " color to contour the eye socket.

And blend it until it just a shadowy looking.

2. Take " Sassy "  color

and blend it all over the eyelid.

3. Take Revlon colourstay eyeliner ($15.90)

Gently frame your eyes.

And extend the lower eyeliner wider than our eyes.

4. Take " sleek " colour.

And apply it on the outer half of our eyes.

Blend it with blending brush

Until you get the below result.

5: Take " sexy " color.

Apply it on the centre of your eyelid.

..again, blend it well.
Blend, blend and blend.

6. Get your Maybelline Hyper gloss liquid liner ready ($13.90)

Frame the upper lid with this solid black eyeliner.

I love creating a higher Arch of my upper liner to get this look.

7. Ardell Faux lashes time ($9.00)
Apply it really close to your real lashes..and hold it for a few second before letting it go.

Nice right??

8. Do shading on your nose to get that ang moh sharp nose. :P
Take " sleek " colour from The balm nude collection, with then blending brush..slowly contour your nose bridge :)

9. Take Pupa lipstick ($38)
I really really love this lipstick, OMG!
Usually I have to combine 2 colour of lipstick to get this colour, but now..i can just apply it.

10. Last step! Get yourself this Japanese makemania curvy Lip silicon ($21.90)
I found this texture is a bit unique, because they gives you that wax silicon looking finishing.

And a different kind from lip gloss.

I LOVE THIS!!

Just apply this all over your lips, and you are about to get that Oomph lip in a jiffy!
Be careful if you do have a thick lips, you just don't wanna end up having Nicky Minaj lips with this.

...and you are DONE!

Please welcome, my glamorous doll look sponsored by SASA.

You can get all the make up items shown in this post at SASA Tampines 1 and I really hope you like my tutorial and do vote for me at Tampines 1 Instagram @tampines1.
