{Korean} style make up tutorial

I blame Korean Drama for being such an addiction!
Am so #Hate myself to the max when I am so hooked to Korean Drama..Haiz haiz..-_-'
~ It's kinda make me ' hallucinating ' until i don't know when --> Quoted from my dearest Magdalene ~

I keep asking myself
"why did I start watching it in the first place?" while watching it..hahahaha..
- you know how it feel..-

*Am currently watching "faith" everybody, go and watch it! and let's get insane together*
Anyway, as always it is such a fairytale,
Handsome heroic actor x pretty lady with such an effortless looking make up!
Too good to be true.

Anyway, I admit it..I am just jealous with the girl character :P
She is pretty and glowing, damn beautiful for her age. *face-palm to myself*
So excuse me with this crazy-ness in my head about this drama.
 ~*~

With that K-drama syndrome in my head,
I am inspired to create the " effortless" Korean make up look.

Clearly it's an effort-full kind of make up to create with an effort less make up as the end result.

So, this is the project of transforming the "Before me" to the "After me" as shown in the photo below.
.
.
.
So OMFG right?
I know I am not born pretty, but Thank God for whoever invented make up and thank goodness for my skill ^^

~*~

~I am wearing Freskon Alluring in Mystical black for my circle lens~

~*~

To achieve the Korean glowing skin, start with Laneige BB Snow as a based.

Cover any blemishes on your face using concealer :)
I am using Kryolan TV paint stick in beige.

With the same Kryolan TV Paint stick, I am creating the highlight on my face.
Not doing the S shape this time, but I draw a half butterfly instead.

Continue with the contouring using creme foundation that 3 tone darker than my skin.

Just a little bit near the cheekbone :)

Blend it nicely with a full brush.

Pick a shimmer white eyeshadow and apply it on your eyelid :)

Draw a thin eyeliner just in your lashline and slightly above it.

Now, let's draw the Korean eyebrow.
They tend to have a straight and thicker eyebrow, and mine is hairless with an arc.
-_-'

If you have the same problem like mine:
Draw a straight line in the lower brow first:

Then slowly filling it up using eyebrow brush and powder eyebrow.

Choose a pinkish blush to put a "blushing " effect on your cheek :)

And as seen in the K drama that I am currently watching, they have this matte pinkish lips.

I don't have a matte pink lips, so I just apply the glossy pink lipstick..

And I take loose powder..

To create the matte effect :)

Done!
Here you go:
My interpretation of the Korean effortless make up look.

*just in case you ask, I took a quick hair wash after I am done with the make up*

To create my hair :)
*Cannot show my "just wake up " hair lah..*

Happy trying and hope you liked it :)

One for four..and four for one..

These few days, I have been soooo not in the mood in doing blogging.
Not because I start to hate blogging or fall out of love with make up, BUT I have been more in love with Korean drama! Faith!

OMG!
Lee Min Ho, the hot sexy hunk playing a character of The legendary General Choi Yung with a twist of
" door to heaven " thingy..Aww.. I am hooked!
Xixixixi.
*lap iler*

~*~

Anyway..anyway..2 weekend ago, I played make up to kill my afternoon.
Not making any tutorial though, just a " me time " with my make up.

And I came up with " The eye make up that suits any lipstick color "
There is a rule of eye make up and lipstick thingy, I think you have heard this at least twice in your life
" let only ONE of them take the spotlight ".
True! but not always right.

I ever paired smokey eyes with hot smokin' red lipstick, and it's still looks gorgeous.
It goes well for fashion look. ~ more on this later..~

With that jingle of " let only One of them take the spotlight " in mind, I started to create the eye look that I think compliments different colors of lipstick,
it will be just nice without taking too much attention from the lips.
And the best of all, it's the easiest eye make up I ever do,

I start to prime up my face using NIP + FAB Sheer make up fix.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App
It is in clear colour
Then I continue with the foundation.
*I am using Revlon Photoready 003 Nude shell*
and then the facial contouring
* Using Kryolan contour powder*
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

For the eye look.
This is super simple.
 fake eyelash extension
 +
draw a quite thick black eyeliner in pencil *using Revlon colorstay*
+
NYX jumbo pencil in " Iced Mocha " color
* apply and rub it in crease area*

Aand...We are done for the eye look.

I am trying out this eye look on 4 different shades of Lipstick:

1. NYX nude pink
2. Estee Lauder Berry Fizz shimmer
3. Mac Up the Amp
4. Mac Russian red

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App
This is how it goes..

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App
I don't like my look on Mac Up the Amp (left bottom), it's too purplish and er...just MEH!
and if you ask me which one is my favourite? I think I Love the NYX nude pink the most.
It's so everyday look, what do you think?

Which one do you think the most suitable color for me?
and what lipstick color do u ussually use?
Tell me..tell me..

And oh, if you like my blog..how about supporting me in my blog facebook page too?

10 mins make up!

Oh, I know how it feels when we are rushing in the morning >.<'
Be it to office, school or even sending your kids to the school.

But I also know, it's important to look fresh with a little effort only :) Again, if you think your wake up face is natural enough and presentable to look good the whole day, lucky U and I am not talking to you now.

But the rest of ladies, that is less lucky like me, read on!

My average make up time in the morning is 10 mins :)
Usually it will be around 8 am - 8.10 am, that is before I grab my bag, put on my shoes and brisk walking to the bus stop.

If you think doing make up and look good within 10 mins is kinda impossible, Bobbi Brown once did make up in 1 minute. I'm not kidding. Google up!

So for my 10 mins make up:

I started with SKin 79 BB cream and Sampar Glamour Shot afterwards.
Never heard about what is Sampar? me too! until I received the sample in my August Trove-Vanity Trove (VT already available in Indonesia! Yay!)

So BB cream, you gals know what it is, especially this famous  Skin 79 BB cream! so am gonna talk a little more about Sampar Glamour Shot; this new in town product claim to instantly minimizes wrinkles and imperfections while matifying the complexion. Is it works? about the wrinkle part, I don't know - I don't have wrinkle yet. The matifying effect? Yes, it works!

Next:
I use Mac Studio perfect to cover my dark circle.
It works for me - I'm lazy to use concealer for daily make up :P

And the rest, as simple as filling up your eyebrow, frame your eyes with eyeliner, mascara, and light pinkish blush to freshen up the whole look. Done!

And don't forget the lipbalm ^^

And here you go!

Photo on the left, taken this morning just after I wake up and shower :D
And photo on the right: after my quick 10 mins make up.

I think I look better.

If I can look better in 10 mins, why can't you?

Have a fabulous day Peeps!

Monday is coming!!

Arrrrggghhhh!!!

Btw, just a random question: If you only have 10 mins left in your life, what will you do and why?
As for me, I think i will call my mum and dad to tell them i love them and see them in heaven, and cuddling up with my Mr. until the time is up.
Wuts yours?

X'mas dinner FOTD ^^

I'm gonna have my X'mas dinner tonite!!
And we decided to do a little dress up for the dinner..and I was thinking to do my x'mas make up too!
*ga ada hubungannya seh!*
Hehehhe..

And I did a little tutorial on how to get this look as well.

Always start with a clean face.
Photobucket

Apply moisturizer before any make up, today..I'm using Lane'ige.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

And I'm using this orange cream camuflage for my dark circle.
I know it's not a typical concealer that we see in the make up counter, but this orange color actually covers the dark circle or any dark spot on our face nicely.
I'm, using Kryolan TV stick ~ orange.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

Apply the foundation all over the face but leave the eye area .
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

Then I take my ivory stick~ again from Kryolan to cover the eye area.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

This is how it's look, the before and after applying Ivory stick.
It is actually helps to brighten the eye area as well.

Sorry for the blurry pic :P
Once you got the coverage that you want,
seal the make up with pressed powder/translucent powder.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

Mine, Mac sheer pressed powder that has 2 shades darker than my skin. ^^
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

Then start drawing your eyebrow if you have less hair like mine
or comb it if you are blessed with a thick and perfect shape of the eyebrow.

Next, choose your eyelashes. Adjust and cut according to your eye length.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

I really love fake eyelash effect on my eyes.
It's create the double eyelid and it's like open up my small eyes.

I do apply a thin line of eyeliner really close to my lashes before I put my falsie,
I just prefer it that way. ^^
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

If you notice, I put my falsie first before my eyeshadow..where usually people do the eyeshadow first the the falsie, but like I told you..falsie creates a different eye shape for me so it is easier for me to find my crease and lid after the falsie on it.

For today's look,
I chose this warm brown color to create a deep set eyes on my outer side.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

And a light shimmery gold color on the inner side of my eyes.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

This is where I apply the warm brown color on the outer side,
and just fill the gold color on the inner side afterwards.
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App
No gold color applied on my lid yet.
After the warm brown and gold color are applied on the eyes.
I used dark grey eyeshadow on my half outer eyes and blend it upward towards the warm brown eyeshadow area and blend it over the warm brown color softly.

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

For the cheek,
I use my contouring powder to creates a high cheekbone and just blend to soften the line.

And lips,
light pink for me.

Done!
Merry X'mas all!

"No make up" Make up

I'm so loving this look.
You know, sometimes we want to have make up on our face
but we want to make it as if there's no make up and yet we still look good and glowing?
If you are nodding while reading this, this is the make up look that  suits u well.

The nude look.

Start with your foundation, powder and trim your eyebrow neatly.

Then, you gonna need:

Contouring powder/blush

I use this Kryolan contouring powder that has like 4 shade darker than my skin.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Brown/Nude color eyeshadow with a little shimmer will be great.
I use Mac All that glitters Veluxe Pearl
Photobucket

Nude color lipstick and clear lipgloss.
I use Maybeline natural nude 945 and H&M lipgloss
Photobucket

And an eyeliner (gel/liquid/pencil)- up to you
I use Kryolan liquid liner
Photobucket

And this look is seriously easy look, cause there's no technique in putting the eyeshadow or whatsoever.
Simply apply the base eyeshadow on your entire eyelid, then put the brown eyeshadow on it but keep the eyebrow bone clear.

Stick your fake eyelash and line it with thin eyeliner.
Photobucket

Done for the eyes.

And for this "no make up" make up, I apply a thin layer of foundation only because I don't want to look too done up for a daily make up, and I apply contouring powder below my cheekbone to create a little shape on my chubby face and finish up my look by putting the lipstick and lipgloss.

I put white eyeliner on my below waterline, but this is not a must..
It help to create a bigger eye illusion only.

Done!

Have a "no make up" make up look for the weekend!
