I got myself a Bubble Perm!

Yes, it's a new technology called Bubble Perm.

Before you start reading on the process, i just want to let you know that this is my favourite hair perm EVER! You will know why soon enough..:)

As I mentioned in the previous Salon De Choic post, I don't like straight hair.

I found with straight cut, my hair are most of the time in damp condition - unless I am just out from Salon De Choix for some fresh cut. Apart from that, I blame Singapore humidity and my hair texture for the constant bad hair day.

That is why, just before I flew to Japan..I requested Sharon Wu - The founder & director of Salon De Choix to pimp my hair up. She agreed, and gave me the most lovely perm i ever have in my hair perming journey.

This is my before hair, not too bad but not my favourite.

After I had a quick and light wash up, the team were getting ready to bubble perm my hair.

The glam team decided to give my hair an extra "oomph " by creating a slightly higher curl than the normal one.

Apologise for the tired looking face, eye bag, and pale face.

It was one hell of a week to rush for work, bringing lil love to Jakarta to be with his grandparents, flew in to Singapore the next day, carrying luggage to the Salon, and off to Tokyo in the same night.

and oh, I think i keep sharing this in my blog..but i am going to share it everytime I had this treatment! This kerastase treatment is a MUST! whether your hair is permed, coloured or not. Please, i beg you in the name of beauty, try this one out and have it convert you to their followers.

This treatment is amazing! It makes my tangled hair smooth and just oh so soft and bouncy to touch.

My new SOMBRE - soft Ombre hair!

I am so ready to celebrate this festive season with a new hair colour!

This is the " Finally " moment i can be in touch again with hair colouring thingy, after months during my pregnancy I keep that chemical thingy away from my hair.

This time, Sharon - the director and owner of Salon de Choix creates something fun and yet still a kind of Ombre style that i can accept. You know I am not a fans of Dip n Dye ombre, nothing wrong with that, but half of my hair in purple and the other half in electric orange is soo not my style. That is why I am excited to explore another version of SOMBRE - Soft Ombre.

We decided to choose Natural soft ombre for my hair with a little twist on the colour.

Dark green and cooper.

Tadaaa!! This is the colour combination and I am sooooo loving it.

I thought I can only fit to red colour, but now..I welcome dark green!

Oh btw, the lady who did the blow dry for my hair is Tha, 

look for her if you keen to have a blow dry for going to an event. She is amazing.

I love how subtle the dark green colour are and I am loving Sharon's cut on my hair.

It is simply gorgeous.

And also, the little highlight on my fringe in cooper colour brings out the fun in my hair!

Salon De Choix - my new look!

I know this post is officially 3 weeks overdue! 

Not that i have intention to delay it..but as you know I am coping with newborn baby and it's pretty much takes my days (and night) ^^

Anyway, a day before I delivered my lil love..I went to Salon De Choix to freshen up my hair a little because I know, when the lil love is here..I might not have that time to even put a hair mask - and I was right.

I am also changing my look!

I feel tired with my 39 weeks pregnant and looking dull, so all the chubby me below are the photos when I was heavily preggie and feeling warm every single second.

To start my last pampering session before another one - oh, God knows when - Sharon, the founder and director of Salon De Choix gave me this Moroccan Oil hair mask. It gaves a healthy glow on my hair, totally love touching my hair over and over again on that day after the treatment.

I am back to Basic..

I'm talking about my hair colour :)

I think it's been a while since i am on my natural hair colour and too be honest I am not so used to this.

My current hair colour is currently not so pleasant to see anymore, my root has grown and Sharon, the director of Salon De Choix decided to keep my hair colour to my original colour.

I am really comfortable with her care during my pregnancy, instead of pushing me for just do the colouring and post my " new hair " in my blog - she suggested to not doing anything chemical to my scalp until I delivered my baby. This is very thoughtful of her.

I keep my hair colour the same but put a little magenta red to ease my boring hair mood.
It seems like no matter what, I keep end up in this colour tone for my highlight.
Not sure if it's because I like it a lot or it is because no other tone that could match my skin tone as good as red hue. >.<'

Have I told you that my soft korean perm hair is still as good as the day I left Salon De Choix a month a go?

The whole process of hair treatment and the colouring is pretty much the same as before, and as always..I am looking forward to see the end result :D

Usually after we bleached our hair, we tend to have a split ends and the annoying bristle right? but really thanks to the treatment Sharon gave to me, my hair is always in a top notch condition.

My short Korean Permed hair by Salon De Choix

Finally the first 3 fragile months on my pregnancy has ended,
and now I can start getting myself a little treat :)

If you follow my blog long enough, you will know that most of the time I am with my permed hair.. until the very last one damaged by one little salon in Far East Plaza, and because of that stupid salon.. I've gotta keep it unpermed for 1 long horrible year, only until last weekend..I finally got it permed.

Bye bye my straight hair :)

..And before I received a lot of blablabla on pregnant women should not get their hair permed or rebonding, I need to tell you THAT i did my research, I read a lot of info and even consulted my director of stylist, Sharon Wu about pregnancy and hair thingy.

So Sharon and the team decided to get me a low soft Korean wave to change my look!
This is totally safe as the chemical did not get into my scalp.

The whole process started with protecting my hair from the chemical using X-tenso moisturist smoothing cream.

Roll it up..

continue with X-tenso  moisturist digital perm neutralising lotion.

I remember last time, I have to wait for bloody hours to get the perm done, but to my surprise..this time was pretty short. The whole total hours spent for washing the hair, cutting, perming, treatment, washing and blow drying and styling was only 3 hours.

It's totally enjoyable and I really can't wait to see the result!

Sharon and Cassandra applied a various Kerastase and Shu Uemura products on my hair to protect and keep the curl in style. This something cool about Salon De Choix, they only use a great product to keep your hair awesome and not to forget that the rate it's affordable.

Cassandra dried up my hair with a circular blower, this is really fun!

All they have to do is just to put my hair in it and attached it with the hair drier..

..and voilaa..curly bouncy hair is mine...^^

Sharon did put Kerastase Elixir Kultime on my hair to get the shinny effect.

And blow dry my hair until it completely dry.

I didn't touch up my hair colour - so bear with the colour.

I really like my new hair.
It's a kind of Korean wave that I want, a soft and bouncy curl.


and the most important thing, it doesn't look like Auntie curl.
