Bobbi Brown Bold look tutorial

I'm back with the make up tutorial :))

This might be the last tutorial before I'm heading back home for Chinese New Year, 

so hope you guys enjoy it..and please welcome my very first Make up tutorial video..

~ first of all, pardon my lighting, and the quality of video ,
using the build in cam by Mac in the middle of the night without any proper lighting ..and..
- apparently it's bad~

Note: Eh Carrie, I finally made one..still very very bad in lighting and stuff though, but i conquer the awkwardness in front of camera. Thanks for the inspiration!

This look created using The Bobbi Brown collection I got from them for their SS 13 collection preview, and when I tried it out..I just loveee the colours and deided to make a video tutorial out of it. :P



This is the complete collection I used in video:



-Bobbi brown Blush in Apricot
-Cream eyeshadow in Platinum 22
-Gel eyeliner in Black ink
-Shimmer eyeshadow in gun metal
-Matte lipstick in Red Carpet.



And before smartass accused me on how I edited my skin again, try this trick :)
- apply a full coverage BB cream then second layer it again with make up forever HD foundation, if you have a dry skin like mine..it works wonder, coz you don't have to set it with loose powder again afterward, and you will get the smooth and clear complexion-



- Jangan ditanya gimana gw bikin pose pose gini yah! karena eh, gw sendiri agak2 gimana gitu pas motonya..hahaha..dan biasa suka disambung ma arip " yaaa ampun istri gw!!! "

How to: Create 7 different (gorgeous) looks

 ....By playing around with your lips...

Yes, we know that eyes is the window of our soul..and true it's reflect everything inside us, but it is no secret that lips is the messenger tools that convey the message out to the world :)

So, say good words that reflect your personality. ^^

Talking about how do we sweeten our lips (and words) when we are so..close to the month of February, the month of where love, balloons, chocolate, and my birthday all come together! *Love it*

I have a little tips on how I usually play around with the colours according my mood; you know mood and make up somehow related, and I can't explain why. But I can let you know, that no matter what mood you are, we can always look good and play well in lippy category. *wink

Little tips #1

Scenario: Lazy day..and wanna look " naturally " fresh.

 *This thing can never " naturally " happened to me lor..hahaha..*

This is what I do:

I brush my lips too when I brush my teeth, just to get rid of the dead skin on the lips.

From there, I prep my make up and gently bite my lower and upper lips to creates the natural red lippy colour, just like after you have a hot and steamy french kiss with your guy. :P

Scenario: Still lazy day..and wanna look a bit "polished "

Easy!

Make up ON, and gloss it up with a clear lip gloss and off you go for your daily routines.

Scenario: Feeling girly..and wanna have fun..

Pink it up! Nothing could be more girly than baby pink colour, no?

It's like already telling you the whole thing lor..when we see something in pink, we tend to comment something like " Wah..so sweet.." " So girly.." " Like candy.." and so on and so forth..

Simply applied a glossy pink colour lipstick all over your lips and layer it 2-3x more on the centre of your lips to create a little pout. :)

Little tips #4

Scenario: Shit..I have overdone my eye make up and pink, red, orange lipstick doesn't seems match my look! ..-_-' how?

* sometimes, we sooo enjoying our eye make until wah laooo..to dark already*

Key rules: Back to basic. 

Keep the neutral colours on the lips to balance it off.

How to choose the natural shade? 

Go for nude hues or go for 1-2 shade darker than your original lips colour :)

Little tips #5

Scenario: Get a new red lipstick! Wanna play around..but don't know where to start..

Let's take it slow and bold :)

Go for a matte finishing look, tone down the eye make up, and don't forget to pat on a compact powder on top of your lips after lipstick application. It will somehow tone the red color down too and keep the colour in place. So, less stain on your cup, clothes and your man..

Scenario: PARTY Time!

Ok! Ok! Now it's time to bold it up, show the confidence and let's play a bit more on the eyes to 

" Pop " the whole look together. Double or even tripple up the lipstick layer to build up the colour.

Be the sexy beast!

Scenario: Got a goodie bag of an unusual colour of lipstick ..hemm..what to do and how should I wear it..?

If a vampie colour is what you got, just like mine!

I must say it's a " Yay! " instead of " Nay! "

Let's do a Vampy looking photo for fun!

Keep the make up pale, super simple eye make up and Vamp the whole attention just to you lippy!

Top coat it with a super glossy as finishing and camwhore the way out of it!

Having fun is a must.

So I guess, for no matter what our scenario are..we can always get a fun way to " wrap " the look up and walk out from our comfort door with confidence!

But the best of all..

..because you never know who will falling love with your smile..

One for four..and four for one..

These few days, I have been soooo not in the mood in doing blogging.

Not because I start to hate blogging or fall out of love with make up, BUT I have been more in love with Korean drama! Faith! 

OMG! 

Lee Min Ho, the hot sexy hunk playing a character of The legendary General Choi Yung with a twist of 

" door to heaven " thingy..Aww.. I am hooked!

Anyway..anyway..2 weekend ago, I played make up to kill my afternoon.

Not making any tutorial though, just a " me time " with my make up.

And I came up with " The eye make up that suits any lipstick color "

There is a rule of eye make up and lipstick thingy, I think you have heard this at least twice in your life

" let only ONE of them take the spotlight ".

True! but not always right.

I ever paired smokey eyes with hot smokin' red lipstick, and it's still looks gorgeous.

It goes well for fashion look. ~ more on this later..~

With that jingle of " let only One of them take the spotlight " in mind, I started to create the eye look that I think compliments different colors of lipstick,
it will be just nice without taking too much attention from the lips. 

And the best of all, it's the easiest eye make up I ever do,

I start to prime up my face using NIP + FAB Sheer make up fix.

It is in clear colour

Then I continue with the foundation.
*I am using Revlon Photoready 003 Nude shell*
and then the facial contouring
* Using Kryolan contour powder*

For the eye look.

This is super simple. 

 fake eyelash extension

 + 

draw a quite thick black eyeliner in pencil *using Revlon colorstay* 

+

 NYX jumbo pencil in " Iced Mocha " color

* apply and rub it in crease area*

Aand...We are done for the eye look.

I am trying out this eye look on 4 different shades of Lipstick:

1. NYX nude pink
2. Estee Lauder Berry Fizz shimmer
3. Mac Up the Amp
4. Mac Russian red

This is how it goes..

I don't like my look on Mac Up the Amp (left bottom), it's too purplish and er...just MEH!
and if you ask me which one is my favourite? I think I Love the NYX nude pink the most.

I bought this red looking lipstick long back..tapi ga pede pakenya bo! Gw ngerasa red lipstick tuh bawaannya glamour en elegant, dan gw sama sekali ga glamour
Atopun elegant..



Karena gw masi ngumpulin nyali untuk pake red lipstick untuk keluar rumah. Akhirnya gw pake di kamar mandi en begaya begaya gajebo..hehehe..



Pertama tama agak geli pas ngaca dengan bibir kayak gini, trus senyum kanan kiri..ga cocok rasanya *seperti wanita aneh*
Trus gw coba berpose tanpa senyum..*mendingan..:p

Dan akhirnya, keterusan foto foto sampe gw rasa arip geleng2 sambil maen game!

Trus ini photo terakhir yang akhirnya gw black and white-in trus jadi photo di facebook gw, dan ngundang komen dari om gw coba.
