DIY-Home made Scrub

When I was not so busy in the weekend, I tried to do something special for myself.
Be it cooking, doing extensive make up, chilling out in the pool with girlfriends or making my own DIY thingy.

And last weekend, I, out of the blues went to my kitchen to grab Olive oil, Oats, and honey!
Not for baking, but for my face. :D

Uh huh! I made a home made face scrub with that 3 items.

1. Honey
Maybe you already know that Honey has natural antioxidant and anti microbial that help to protect our skin from sun damage, and also to rejuvenate and refresh the tired skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple.

2. Oats
Scrubs, exfoliates, and removes surface dirts.

3. Extra virgin Olive oil
Definitely a top moisturizer for the skin.

So, I was thinking to share it with u lovely ladies, just in case you have a very sensitive skin
or a kind of " au naturale " person.

I'm not in that 2 categories though, but this DIY scrub really works wonder to exfoliate and moisture up my dry skin.

If you keen to try, this is my recipe;

1 tsp Extra virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp honey
1.5 tsp raw oats

Mixed it.:)

I actually started with a smaller amount
(as the pic below) and made it twice.
Stupid, i know.

Apply it on your face.
Do it in bathroom if you don't want all the Oats sprinkle all over your room.

Gently rub it

And Rinse it with warm water.
Use warm water to clean some excess olive oil from your skin.

happy trying!
