Little happiness and the look!

I feel blessed and loved by God and people, and I am so thankful for every little happiness that happens in my life.

Just like a simple email from Cosmopolitan Indonesia magazine that send me a gorgeous invitation of *one of my favorite brand* launching! It does put a smile on my face.

"Maybe some of u are one famous blogger that might be raising ur eyebrow by reading this and said

"really..happy over this lil invitation? I got it all the time"

Well, Good on ya!
but yes to me it's the first time receiving launching invitation in a fashion world,
eventho I couldn't attend it, I still feel happy because my little humble blog gives me the opportunity to be recognized by Cosmopolitan Indonesia magazine.

Am I being over reacted? maybe!
But when your turn is come, you will know how it feel
and for the famous blogger..u do remember how u felt back then.

 So I feel love is in the air..

The purplish Valentines day look!

At first, I'm not so sure about the color on my eyes! 

Purple? hemmm...*not a real fans of purple*

So I just tried to do the look and I end up loving it, so please welcome my purplish
Valentines look.

I'm sorry for the tired looking eyes, I've been having trouble in sleeping for the last one week.
And I guess it's pretty obvious on this picture.

To start the look, I put my Kryolan orange stick around my eyes to cover my super serious dark circle and it's not covering really well..damn! I need 13 hours of sleep I gez. T_T

After the concealer, I put my Revlon Photoready in 003 shell and set it with Revlon photoready powder in light/fair.

Next, I take a very solid matte purple eyeshadow and apply it at the corner of my eyes with a flat brush, start blend the color towards half of your eyes and on your lower lid close to your lash line as well.

Then I'll go for the same purple shades with 3-4 tone lighter to blend it towards my inner corner.

I choose a shimmery light gold color for my inner corner, because I want to make my eyes look brighter and less tired.

Do highlight your brow bone and blend it downward a bit towards the purple color.

Frame your upper lashline with a black eyeliner in crayon form so it's easier for you to blend it.

We want it make it slightly smokey to avoid the purple candy color for your date night.

This look, was my 2nd attempt to do the purplish look..and I create a sharper shape at the end of the eyes. I'll show the rounder shape that I did on my first attempt at the end of this posting.

Choose your favorite fake eyelash and u're done with the eyes!

Choose a fresh blush color to compliment the look, 

don't go for something that is too pinkish or too peachy.

Keep the lips simple and natural.

I use only lipbalm on this look.

Man, I'm seriously look like I just wake up and apply make up.

Oh, do contour and highlight if you have a flat feature like mine..trust me..it helps ^^

The exact same color with a little different in blending and the eyeshadow shape.

Their review and tips are the things that I always look forward to, and also the make up challenge.

How awesome it was?

And soon after the interview, they are super kind to post it on their blog too.

Technology changes everything I gez ^^

The interview mostly about my passion in make up and why I let go my job to pursue it..

I know that for some people, this might seems like a little thing..but it means a lot for me, to share it with people that are in my shoes..and I hope my story could inspire them.

Whether it turned out good or bad, at least I have tried it..and I have no regrets.

I am pursuing something that I know I'm good at and hope it will be excellent someday, and I wish people could support me in expanding my creativity.

3 idiots..and it's not a movie ^^

Scene: Di dalem bus

Cast: Me, Arief and Matthew (dede arip ) +3 idiots

Kita masuk bus, trus duduk di paling belakang..ga lama..kedengeran..

Idiot 1 (duduk di belakang idiot 2): Eh, hape gw uda dirapiin loh..! liat deh!

Idiot 2 (duduk di sebelah matthew-di bagian dalem): mana mana? *sambil muter badan ke belakang*

Idiot 1: Sini, lu pindah aja deh ke sebelah gw..gw males kalo ada orang laen yg duduk di sebelah gw!

Idiot 2: Gimana? sebelah gw ada orang (matthew) nih!

Idiot 1: lu berdiri ajee..nanti juga orangnya minggir!

Idiot 2: *bingung sesaat* ga usah deh, gpp.

Remarks: gebleg! kalo ga ada yg mo duduk sebelahan ma orang asing..kenapa awalnya bus kosong lu pada ber3 duduk misah misah coba?

Idiot 2: eh, ada Juanda apaan sih? 

Idiot 1: apaan?

Idiot 2: Ada airport yang namanya Juanda ga seh?

Idiot 1: gw ga tau lu ngomong apaan (sumpeeeeeee dia ngomong begini!!!)

Idiot 2: Airport..airport..ada ga sih yang namanya juanda? dimana gitu?

Idiot 1: GA ADA! ga pernah denger tuh gw airport yang namanya gitu!

 *sambil maen maen ipad*

Nah si Idiot 3 ngapain? hehehe..sebenernya ga ngapa2in. Cuma mereka bertigaan se group gayanya kayak keren aja..nge-gigit batang lolipop! lu pikir lu vic chou apa? kayak di drama taiwan dulu. Dan super super odong! Juanda ga tau dimana..lu kemane aje jek?

Oh my, gw tadi uda mikirin my closing statement aja pas mo turun..pengen BANGET gw pura2 ngobrol ke Matthew sambil bilang " Goblog yeh! Juanda aja ga tau! " *sambil belaga polos* @_@

Sayangnya, ni 3 idiots..turun bareng sama gw! heran! kuliah dimana sih de?

February, I'm in love..

I found new love!

Seriously, this is pretty affordable and good quality!

 

I like the medium to full coverage that can be build up for photo shoots or even for a daily use.
Though the product is a bit shimmery, it is still tolerable and in fact it gives 
the " glowing effect " on my face.

And because I have more to dry skin condition lately , I like to use this without any loose powder.

Just keep it simply glowing on my face. ^^

Anybody tried this product before? DO you like it?

I also tried my new contact lens from:

Pretty!

This is how it look like on my eyes.

And this is after " make up " look, using the lens and Revlon photo ready foundation.

And this Revlon colorstay in PINK INDULGENCE lipstick with SG background as bonus :P

The weird things about the color, it turns a bit pale on my lips instead of my hands.

I wonder why?!

Oh, about the make up..I tried fun eyeliner this time.

So I tried this:

I hope someday I could do this look on fashion shoots.

And Valentines day is coming, what plan do you have in mind?

Oh man, it's February..

Red lippy for Chinese new year?

This posting is only about red lipstick and camwhoring session ^^

I've Been lazy to blog lately, and I cudn't find any interest things to blog about nowadays.

Only that I am so grateful, after the ungrateful friend that left me..

Ke gundah dan galau-an gw sedikit berkurang dengan cara terus terusan berdoa..^^

Gw ga jadi lebih suci dan tetep maki maki orang aneh nan ajaib..tapi se-engganya gw jadi makin merasa

gw ga pernah ditinggalin sama Tuhan, dan cara Tuhan tetep memenuhi kebutuhan gw dengan caranya yang unik. :P

Tapi gw juga mo komplen soal si FOXY lady yang rasanya pengen gw tampol jidatnya.

Pernah ga sih nemu orang yang mau tau banget soal urusan lu..tapi kalo pas giliran dia ditanya langsung nge-les en diem seribu bahasa? dan mulutnya bisa bercabang cabang coba..dan konyolnya dia pikir dia smart enough to hide it sampe orang laen ga tau kalo dia foxy..*roll eyes*
Dimana mana bau busuk bakal kecium euy.

Anyway, I have posted this red lippy look on my facebook and twitter..and received email on how to achieve that look, so eventhough nobody email me about how to do it..I will still post it anyway..^^

I will start with this half done face photo of mine and I have pasted the eyelid tape to my lid.


Next, the big circle lens..and draw the eyebrow.


For this look, I applied this solid black kajal pencil on my lid (on top of my eyelid sticker)


Just fillin' it up
The purpose of me applying kajal before the black eyeshadow is just to make it darken.


With this Maybeline diamond Hyper Diamonds collection, I apply the black color on top of my kajal area.



All the way down to the lower lid and frame your eyes.


The next eyeshadow i'm using is this PEPPER color from Kryolan eyeshadow pallete, or actually you can use any color you like..


Apply it all over the lid up to the crease area,
and take any loose powder to blend it well up to brow bone. Just to soften the line.


Choose a thicker lashes to make your eyelash look fuller.


Apply the red lipstick (or lip pencil in my case- Kryolan 1091/122) + blusher (Bobbi brown-Blushed)
And done!


Personally I think this look is pretty glam for daily make up, but it's nice if you wanna have a different kind of look when you out with your boyfriend or husband for a weekend dinner.

Just put on a simple black dress or even a simple top with skinny jeans and heels.
This look still looks classy and up do in any ways..Happy trying ^^

Halah banget ya? hahahaha..sungguh galau sampe ya malem2 pas lagi di depan komputer, gw nangis netesin aer mata coba..*padahal ga lagi mo dapet* ya ampun banget kan?

Di tengah ke galau-an gw yang penting ga penting..gw bersyukur banget loh kalo gw dapet MIL kayak mamanya Arip, yang bikin gw berasa nyaman to join their family..dan suka kirim kata kata cantik kayak

" God bless you darling "

atopun kirim barang-barang kecil kayak timbangan kue, kukusan dim sum, kuali, plastik utk nyetak kue, dan hal hal kecil laennya yang pernah kita ngomongin tapi ga pernah gw minta..dia inget percakapan kita dan pas dia ketemu barangnya, langsung dikirim.

Dan kemaren tiba-tiba gw dapet kado cantik lagi dari mama baru ku, dia sms bilang

" mama ada beliin sabun mandi (bar soap) dari Melbourne, jangan disimpan kelamaan nanti bau nya ilang "

Haduh..gw seneng euy..

Wangi pisan!

Dan pas kemaren gw jalan jalan ke Paragon, gw liat di SG dijual dengan harga $17 sebatang!

Aje gila! Gw sama dedenya Arip sampe bengong liat harganya trus gw poto en kirim ke si Mama.

Oh my, makasi ya Ma! ^^

Lalu, aku mo pamer rambut baru!!

Pendek ya bo?

Dan gw masi bingung ni rambut enaknya diapain buat sehari hari..pas di foto ini, gw kriwil kriwil pake 1 inch hair curler..dan hasilnya gini..kalo engga mah, flat rata lurus. Boring.

Ada saran bagusnya diapain?

Oh foto ini gw pake kemaren untuk submit cat eyes look ke Looxperiments,

kalo mo coba bikin make up look ini, sungguh gampang aje..

Gw cuma pake ini aja:

• Estee Lauder Cyber white 2 way cake pressed powder

• The Body shop bronzer

• Kryolan black eyebrow pencil as eyeliner

• Eyelashes curler without mascara

• Maybeline Pink Peach lipstick

• Viva eyebrow pencil 

 Always start with a clean face:

 

Apply the powder, draw your eyebrow, and start creating a cat line on your eyelid.

Then fill the line up and connect the end line to lower eyeliner.

Apply the bronzer and the lipstick.

And you're done!

Selamat taon baru semua!!

Malem taon baru pada ngapain? 

gw cuma steamboat-an di rumah sama liat kembang api marina bay dari balkon.

Taon baru ini ga ada hingar bingarnya, cuma ber 4..

Arip, gw, henny sama Lili. 

Makan ampe sesek, maen kartu, nonton kembang api 

dan ditutup sama after midnite movie di rumah..selimutan di sofa kayak teri lalu bobo.

Ternyata enak yah lenje lenje di rumah sama temen temen deket en walopun cuma ber 4, gw ga ngerasa basi ato bosen sama sekali..unlike taon lalu..yang rasanya ampun basi banget..-_-'

Taon ini,

Setelah April, gw rencana mo punya baby..

*kalo mak gw baca blog ini bakalan girang setengah mati deh dia, secara dia sekarang uda bosen sama gw..uda ga ada yang bisa di kepo-in lagi..hahaha..* 

Gw pengen banget punya baby cewek, 

tapi langsung dikasih tatapin sinis ma Arip trus bilang 

" kamu sexist ih, nanti kalo anak cowok ga disayang lagi.."

Yah ga gitu juga kali yah, wajar ga sih kalo gw pengen anak perempuan? 

biar bisa gw dandanin lucu lucu..bando bando, rok tutu dll..lucu kan?

Tapi kata arip anak laki juga bisa di dandanin 

" pake beanies, kalung dollar..hip hop-an " 

err..anak gw bukan "black" lah ya dan pasti putih bener..

karena gw putih dan arip lebih putih dari gw.

Anyway, semoga anaknya sehat sehat aja kali ya. ^^

Hehehehe..doain yah, semoga di taon 2012 gw bisa makin lancar untuk urusan perlenongan,
