Red lippy for Chinese new year?

This posting is only about red lipstick and camwhoring session ^^

I've Been lazy to blog lately, and I cudn't find any interest things to blog about nowadays.

Only that I am so grateful, after the ungrateful friend that left me..

Ke gundah dan galau-an gw sedikit berkurang dengan cara terus terusan berdoa..^^

Gw ga jadi lebih suci dan tetep maki maki orang aneh nan ajaib..tapi se-engganya gw jadi makin merasa

gw ga pernah ditinggalin sama Tuhan, dan cara Tuhan tetep memenuhi kebutuhan gw dengan caranya yang unik. :P

Tapi gw juga mo komplen soal si FOXY lady yang rasanya pengen gw tampol jidatnya.

Pernah ga sih nemu orang yang mau tau banget soal urusan lu..tapi kalo pas giliran dia ditanya langsung nge-les en diem seribu bahasa? dan mulutnya bisa bercabang cabang coba..dan konyolnya dia pikir dia smart enough to hide it sampe orang laen ga tau kalo dia foxy..*roll eyes*
Dimana mana bau busuk bakal kecium euy.

Anyway, I have posted this red lippy look on my facebook and twitter..and received email on how to achieve that look, so eventhough nobody email me about how to do it..I will still post it anyway..^^

I will start with this half done face photo of mine and I have pasted the eyelid tape to my lid.


Next, the big circle lens..and draw the eyebrow.


For this look, I applied this solid black kajal pencil on my lid (on top of my eyelid sticker)


Just fillin' it up
The purpose of me applying kajal before the black eyeshadow is just to make it darken.


With this Maybeline diamond Hyper Diamonds collection, I apply the black color on top of my kajal area.



All the way down to the lower lid and frame your eyes.


The next eyeshadow i'm using is this PEPPER color from Kryolan eyeshadow pallete, or actually you can use any color you like..


Apply it all over the lid up to the crease area,
and take any loose powder to blend it well up to brow bone. Just to soften the line.


Choose a thicker lashes to make your eyelash look fuller.


Apply the red lipstick (or lip pencil in my case- Kryolan 1091/122) + blusher (Bobbi brown-Blushed)
And done!


Personally I think this look is pretty glam for daily make up, but it's nice if you wanna have a different kind of look when you out with your boyfriend or husband for a weekend dinner.

Just put on a simple black dress or even a simple top with skinny jeans and heels.
This look still looks classy and up do in any ways..Happy trying ^^

Midnite inspiration..

Literally at 12ish am, I took out all my make up stuff and start creating look.

I know it may sounds like I don't have anything better to do..but when the inspiration starts kickin' in..
I just couldn't stop, and I may say..I love how it turned out.

I bought this cute lashes back in Indonesia, and I take the inspiration from Angler fish with this lantern on their head..
so I'll go with the dark shades like deep metallic blue and purple.

The only thing I regret about this look is my blending technique, I should've blend it even more.

And the second look,

I think it's quite easy to guess, yes! It's peacock feather inspired.

*Still with the same lashes*

 

Hope to create more interesting look in the future!

Btw, when I sent this to my friend..just to show off my new skill..she just like
"no way! I don't believe it's your artworks"
..and I had one bloody hard time to convince her that this is my eyes
and I did it myself!

Maybeline HYPER DIAMOND

I got this Maybeline pallete on my birthday, but I just recently use it for my make up class.

The swatches on my hand:

Top: With Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion

Below: Without any primer

I really think this eyeshadow has a beautiful color, but It need to be apply after the primer.

Or else, the color just not so sparkling.

Yesterday, I decided to make a little look with this palette using only the darkest black and the highlight.

And for the lips, I'm using Maybeline Pink peach P32.

I kinda like this look for evening date out or dinner with girlfriends.
It's light smokey with a bit of bright lipstick and super super light peachy blush.
I use a very very thin eyeliner near my fake eyelash line to enhance the eyes.

And for the foundation, I use Kryolan camouflage creme.

Oh btw,

Me before make up. No photoshop on the face feature.
Just big circle lens, make up and some serious posing ^^

I know I look different ^^

Sariayu eye shadow - Merak Kasmaran

~Eyeshadow review from Sariayu Martha Tilaar~

I've been into peacock feather's color lately, and trying to mix green and blue to get the color that i want..but i just cudn't get the right combination out of it.

So when i found this color as Peacock color combination, i grabbed it without any second thought!

But when i got home and take a look on the color,
i started to feel that the color is a bit too strong for daily look and it's very shinny.

But, ever since I already bought it..might as well give it a shot on how it looks like on my eyes.

For today's eye review,
I didn't put any foundation on my face for this time, but i used 2 way cake pressed powder from L'oreal which help to cover light blemishes.

Firstly, i applied the blue color on my outer lid and blend it inside towards my inner lid.
And i keep blend it towards my crease as well and stop just right there.
Oh, i did the blue shade on the lower water line as well but only the outer part.

Next, i start with the yellow shade from my inner corner and
blend it outward overlapping the first layer of blue color.
And i got my peacock feather's color!
Yay!

For the dark purple shade, i applied it on my inner lower eyes and near my eye bone,
just for the illusion of having a deeper eyes.

As if the color is not dramatic enough,

I put a dramatic eyelash as well to complete the look.

Do you think it's a bit too much?

I think, when I applied it..the line appear a bit too harsh

and it's looking like I got a nose job on this pic below.

Lalala..done!

But I still have no idea on where to go with this make up.

Eye Make up tutorial ^^

Dear Khat, As per your request and a bit of modification..
here i present you my simple DIY make up tutorial.
* again, kalo kurang jelas maaaaaapkaaaaan yah!

Dan kalo ada yang kurang berkenan sama teknik make up ato hasilnya..ya sudahlah ya, maapkan aja. Ini uda gw declare berkali-kali (mungkin karena gw declare pake bahasa indo kali yeh), si wanita yang hobinya menyerang blog gw kembali beraksi..
- nasib nasib-

Kali ini topik dia, tentang make up tutorial gw yang sama sekali ga professional dan kata dia cenderung asal-asalan! Hihihi..
Ho oh! Make up tutorial gw memang jarang banget pake kuas, kadang tekniknya beda sama teknik para professional yang ada di google search.
Tapi pengen banget gw balikin ke dia..
" emang lu ada semua alat yg professional punya?? Hah! "

Tujuan gw buat super basic tutorial ini kan buat gw en mungkin temen2 yang bermodalkan kuas jari en standard make up kit, supaya kita work our talent and resources to the max!! Halaaah bahasa gw!

Hihihihi..ya maksud ati gw sih gitu..apa daya, ditangkepnya laen..
- jadi curcol deh gw! Hahahaha..

Ya gitu lah, gw sadar kok kemampuan dandan gw yang dianggep standard, muka standard, cuma body aja yang ga standard (over weight maksudnya), tapi aku kan berhati mulia dan gemar menabung..?!?!?!?!.. Pyaaaang! Ngelantur...
Hihihi..ga ding, tapi at least..gw coba untuk act positif dan innovatif..termasuk urusan dandan ( topiknya lagi ini kan yah?)
Ga cuma kayak dia yang sendiri penampilannya ga beres tapi tetep komen-in penampilan orang2 di kantor.

so here's my simple DIY make up tutorial.

Khat, kali ini gw buat make up nya yang untuk hang out yah..jangan dipake buat make up sehari-hari..(tapi kalo mau, ya gpp juga sih ^^)
- warning: entah karena efek lens kali yah, muka gw kayak setengah manusia setengah rubah gitu keliatannya- ANEH! dan gw males ulang fotonya..jadi ya udalah ya.

Start with a clean and moisturized face, and always keep your eyebrow in shape!
Apply any foundation/ primer/ BB cream or wutever base cream you feel like applying.
lalu apply eyeshadow warna netral di seluruh kelopak mata supaya lebih gampang dibaur-in.

Mine: Clarins loose powder, Lancome eyeshadow (matte white), freshkon alluring blue.

Next step: eyeliner bawah

frame mata pake eyeliner, jangan lupa waterline juga dikasih eyeliner biar lebih penuh matanya dan tarik endnya ke arah atas (kayak foto diatas, biar kasih instant eyelifting efek)

eyeliner atas:

tarik garis dari arah dalem ke luar en berenti di garis yang kita tarik dari eyeliner bawah..trus di fill aja ujung2 mata pake eyeliner itu sendiri ato eyeshadow item.
mine: revlon eyeliner pencil.
top: satu mata uda di frame, yang satu lagi 1/2 jadi..hihihi..
bottom: side view

Kali ini gw iseng pakein bulumata palsu buat bikin mata lebih ekspresif en dramatic..


Tips:

1. beli bulumata jangan yang abal-abal..*tapi kalo ada yang abal-abal tapi nyaman ya gpp* hihihi..supaya bisa dipake berulang-ulang. Dan kata Keyne, dia suka rendem air anget biar lem nya lepas abis dipake, jadi tahan lebih lama. (Bener ga keyne?)

2. Sebelom dipake, ukur dulu sama ukuran mata kita..harus nyaman dan pas. Mulainya jangan terlalu sudut dalem..kalo kelewat dalem, nanti bener2 ga nyaman.

Tadaa..sebelah pake sebelah engga..


Kalo pake cara gw, gw suka tarok eyeshadow setelah falsie, biar gw tau gimana hasil akhir mata gw with eyeshadow after falsie..

Eyeshadow kali ini gw buat di sekitar mata dengan warna ijo muda di 3/4 sudut mata bagian luar and shimmer beige di 1/4 sudut mata bagian dalem.
Khat, untuk bikin highlight terang di sudut mata bagian dalem..selalu pake shadow yang shimmer ato white eyeliner. tarok di bagian sudut mata dalem en dibaurin ke arah luar.


Mine: Lancome eyeshadow and In2it eyeshadow.

Kelar eye shadow, pakein highlighter di point-point tertentu kayak di tulang mata, tulang idung en tulang pipi.

Emang efeknya ga terlalu kentara, tapi it actually help untuk nonjolin aksen tulang muka kita loh.

Next: Apply blush warna soft like coral ato soft pink and light lipgloss
( soalnya dandanan mata uda berat, kalo pake lipstick warna mentereng..nanti menor!) hihihi

Casual-Make up tutorial

Another simple make up tutorial..
With BB cream, corrector and concealer!

Gw baru nyoba BB cream etude..and i loveee it!
Walopun hasil akhirnya lebih terkesan " pake make up "
daripada pake yang foundation sama highlighter gel..hihihi..
tapi yang ini ga ribet en ga butuh banyak peralatan..
cukup apply aja langsung mulus banget mukanya..!

En ada SPF 30 nya, jadi gw ga pake sun block hari ini ^^



BB cream: etude
Corrector: Bobbi brown
Concealer: Bobbi brown

Oh bentar..
Apa bedanya corrector ma concealer?

Corrector: teksturnya cream
tapi warnanya lebih kemerah-merahan
buat nyamarin noda yg lebih jelas.

Concealer: teksturnya sama, cream juga
tapi warnanya lebih kekuningan dibanding corrector.

Pakenya?
Corrector dulu baru concealer, ditimpa aja.
Baru pakein BB cream ratain di seluruh muka tipis-tipis aja.



Next step, pakein loose powder
( jangan nekad pake compact foundation powder,
tapi kalo mo ngelenong ato mo pentas balet ya boleh dipakein..^^ )

Rapiin alis seperti biasa, pilih yang sesuai sama warna bulu kita.



Loose powder: Bobbi brown-sheer finish loose powder (sand color)
eyebrow pencil: Viva - Mangga dua (the best eyebrow pencil)
dan harganya dong..cuma 13 rebu!
dan eyebrow pencil katanya banyak dipake ma make up artist juga loh
* ini kata make up artist yang dulu dandanin gw buat nari buat di Lativi dulu*
*ga tau bener ato kaga*

Lalu, pilih eyeshadow 2 tone..karena gw hari ini pake cardigan ijoo..
gw pake light green en pink sebagai base colornya.



Eyeshadow: Lancome travelling pack

Little note: untuk siang hari ga usah pake eyeshadow sampe tebel bener.

Trus apply eyeliner (senjata pamungkas dandanan gw! )
Kalo cuma disuruh bawa 1 barang ke gunung utk make up,
gw bakal bawa eyeliner..yang laen ga penting dah! Hihihi..



Eyeliner tips hari ini:
- frame mata di garis bulumata.
- dari mata sisi yang dalem bikin curve ke arah sudut mata..
-trus fill curve nya.
-tarik garis dr sudut mata luar ke arah bulumata bawah.
- frame mata sepanjang bulumata bawah.

*maapin foto muka gw yg kayaknya ke distort -ato memang muka gw yang ke distort yah?*

Abis itu pilih lipstick and blush dengan nuansa pink and soft pink.



Karena waktu mepet uda mau pergi,
gw pake blush yang super instant dari body shop..
bentuknya pom-pom gitu yang langsung apply di apple of the cheek.
En poles lipstick biasa aja.

Blush: body shop blush christmast edition.
Lipstick: estee lauder-crystal pink

Udah! Kelar deh..kali ini foto2nya rada kurang banyak..
maapkan yah, soalnya tadi rada agak keburu-buru. ^^
