[Workshop Event] Star Tokyo Optical x Ettusais: Girls who wear glasses!

Holla guys..last 2 Saturday, i went to Star Tokyo Optical x Ettusais : Girl who wear glasses workshop. I am not wearing glasses, but I would like to know about the make up technique behind it and in the same time, to check out this open space and minimalistic optical shop at Citylink. I love the concept where people could just easily browse on the glasses and try it on the spot.

And also, it's so good to be back to event! It's so good to meet fellow beauty blogger friends too, it's been a while. Thanks to le hubby to take care lil Ethan.

The have generous choice of glasses, and I had fun trying some of them.

Ranging from a normal reading glasses to a funky " look at me! " style to choose from :)

Which of these suits me best?

The event started by simple opening from Rhys to explain a little about the shop concept and about the collaboration with Ettusais.

the make up tips is very useful, not only for girls who wear glasses..but also for us in everyday look. But to see how Tokyo Star Optical and Ettusais team pair up the look with the glasses are something new and interesting to me.

Simple soft color on the eyeshadow and the right MASCARA could bring the eyes behind glasses goes " Pop " even more. Pair it up with a soft pink or light coral on blush and the beautiful creamy lipstick to finish the look.

Another fun thing to learn on that day workshop was pairing up a glasses with your make up look!

As  beauty blogger, Ettusais is not something new to me. I have been a fans for quite sometimes :)

Ettusais collection is definitely one pretty stuff to try and play with for this Valentines day. It's soft in color, but strong in pigmentation, and definitely beautiful on skin.

I like their creamy lipstick I received in their door gift. It glides smoothly on my lips with the right shine, and definitely a beautiful light coral to brighten my look.

Do you think it suits me well?

Glamrock pajama party!

I like the idea of having gals pajama party in the weekdays night, just like Glam rock party!

Although it's a bit troublesome to change to the themed outfit and back to you own clothes, I've gotta give a credit to the concept. It's fun and girly.

If you haven't heard about GlamoGirl, let me share a bit about this brand..this is a Singapore import channel established just this year, that dedicated to bringing in the best of affordable English cosmetic products, with brands such as Dirty Works and Exposed.

I know, I also never heard about it before :)

But it's not that hard to remember as they have this Retro packaging that caught your eyes in a glance.

 

I'm keeping this furry pink slippers for my own bedroom use :P

It has quite an affordable choice of product to try on.

During the party, we have a wet station and the dry station.

I love all the scented smell of the body wash, body scrub and the face wash.

Only that it's too bad..I cannot use the body wash as daily body wash as it is a bit too strong for my eczema skin. *sad*

As for the dry station, I loveeee the lip plumper, too bad I don't have the sample with me..so I cannot share the before and after " oommph " lips of mine :P

The shimmer lotion also great, it gives a healthy glow on your skin. Pretty.

Nespresso 2% Party

I think I am the latest one who posted about Nespresso 2% Party.

 Anyway, I post it up now :)

Firstly, thank u Kavitha & Crowd for inviting me to the event :)

I had fun and as a coffee lovers, this event is perfect!

Eh, actually can be better if I could eat more of the Wagyu cube as my dinner :P

That night, is quite a nice night in secluded location, 

with a mini good food, perfect ambience and coffee all over :)

For me, the highlight of the night was the part that I can make my own coffee.

Using Nespresso very own machine and the capsules, I am creating my Ice cappuccino with help from this nice coffee bartender :P *btw, wut do u call coffee bartender?*

Talking about this machine, me and Mr. have been contemplating on whether we should get one for our home or not! We found this is just cool, a combination of innovation and simplicity.

It is also designed to reveal the subtle aromas and flavours of the capsules. The thing is, we usually have our coffee in office instead of home. >.<' But I want one too..haiz, dilemma.

Ready to drink. Fast and easy :)

  

Apart from making your own coffee session, they do served Coffee martini :)

It taste a bit weird, hahaha..it's a blend of Coffee and alcohol, not my kind of drink, 

but my Mr. loving it.

Rachel K " see the difference " skin care launch!

I was at Rachel K skin care launching sometimes ago.

For those who don't know this brand, you can read it here.
As for me, I remember her from the Rachel K cosmetic that already launched earlier, featuring the famous CC cream and the gorgeous pressed powder. I like the CC cream-more on this later!

I have a dry skin and sometimes it's flaky, yeah I know..it's that bad!
